Our friends the electricians are close to bidding us a fond farewell.  The outlets are installed, the switches are in; now we just need electricity.

sign o’ the times, part III

The first sign went up yesterday, and when I went by at 6:30 this morning, regrettably sans camera, they were starting in on the other one.  I’m headed back over now to see the progress.

I love the great big signs going up, but this one was already made, and really affordable.  Granted, it doesn’t really do much for business, but I find it has a subtle charm all its own.

sunny side up. or out.

get ready to dine al fresco- the patio’s been poured Lots of concrete in the works today at new Feast.  The patio’s been poured and the furniture’s being shipped on Friday.  Before you know it, you’ll be able to soak up the sun as you soak up a Bohemian Bicycle.

out back

There’s a roof going up in back of Feast, which will serve two purposes:  it will cover our walk-in refrigerators to keep them from working too hard, and it will give young Hektic something to climb up on top of to spray-paint his moniker on our new blue wall.

tiles and smiles

Kitchen floor tile started yesterday.  I don’t know if you could technically call that a smile on the guy in the middle photo, but you have to admit: he can sure lay tile.
