Hi there, Feastlings.
I believe I may have mentioned to you that, as one of those people who goes on the air periodically to remind you of the importance of supporting public radio (and television too,) I was planning on cutting into your listening time, assuming you listen to NPR or Classical KUAT, a week from Tuesday at 6 am. As luck would have it, I’ve been given something of a reprieve- I don’t have to go on now until 8 am on the 14th.

You can listen to whatever radio you like, but if you were planning on donating to Arizona Public Media anyhow, I’ll note that if you do it- or even if you just call in- while I’m on from 8 to 10 on the 14th, you’ll be entered in a drawing to win a gift certificate to Feast. Who says there’s no free lunch?

Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year, is likely a moot point by now, as time has run out to preorder for pickup tomorrow, but you’re still welcome to give us a call tomorrow, once we’ve gotten the orders sorted, to see if we have an odd serving of Noodle kugel or gefilte fish terrine that hasn’t been claimed. Fingers crossed you can start the year off on the good foot.

We’re continuing to donate food, with your amazing and generous help, to people who could use a meal, and this week we’re headed to St. Luke’s Home, which you can learn more about here.

and you now have two days left to sample our current menu, so I’ll suggest you strike while the iron is hot.
