Dear, dear Feastlings,
I’m dashing off this note a couple of days earlier than usual because I wanted to avail you of the opportunity, just in case, to attend tomorrow’s wine dinner with Lisa d’Adamo. If you’re like me, planning ahead is a lie you tell yourself daily, so I thought with only one day’s notice, you’d know whether you were busy tomorrow night and whether you felt the urge to attend a dinner with wines from France, Italy, Spain and Austria, foods to accompany them, and stories and facts from our friend Lisa of Folio Wine Partners. There’s still time to call and add yourself to the dinner.
If, unlike me, you do plan a bit further ahead, there are two more tastings to consider. One is this Saturday at 2:00 pm- all Greek wines, which are better than you remember or better than you suspected. Consider it.
And if you’re too busy until Sunday, our Last Sunday of the Month tasting happens on the 31st at 3:30 pm. Unusual wines from the usual places.
You’ll be getting early email next week as well, since Tuesday will be the first Tuesday of the month and the menu will change then. What’s on the menu? I don’t know. I haven’t planned that far in advance. Please excuse me while I go work on the menu right now. See you soon.
