Expect the unexpected.

Hello, Feastlings.

There are certain expectations when we think about wine.  Pinot Noir? That comes from Burgundy, or maybe you expected Sonoma County.  Malbec?  That would likely be from Cahors, or Mendoza.  As it happens, though, where grapes grow is not necessarily dictated by from whence they came, nor is Occam’s Razor always correct.  This Saturday, we’ll taste wines that hail from unexpected places, and with any luck, you’ll be able to taste how their curious new birthplace influences what they do in the glass.

Our pal Megan will be here on Saturday, May 2, at 2:00 pm, and you’ll find some wines you heretofore had no idea were available from such places, and with any luck, you’ll find them as delicious as we do.  To reserve your seat, call us at (520) 326-9363 and let us know you’re coming.  Then show up on Saturday at 2 with $20 plus tax and tip in your pocket and an open mind and open palate.  You’ll be glad you did.

Where did you say you were from?
