Mother’s Day

Hello, Feastlings,

In the event you wanted to celebrate a mother in your life and didn’t feel up to the challenge of doing all the cooking and cleanup, we’ll be opening on Sunday, May 10, and serving our regular May menu, as well as these specials:

 

A FEW SPECIAL DISHES FOR MOM

Until 3:00 pm:

Brioche French toast with honeyed peaches and lemon-ricotta whip. 18

Eggs Benedict~ house-made English muffin with ham, poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce.  Served with crispy potatoes and sautéed spinach. * 21

Served all day:

Crabcake studded with peanuts and scallions, served over pad thai. (appetizer) 20

Fricasée of summer squashes, mushrooms, sweet peppers and sugar snap peas in a warm-spiced peanut sauce, served over jasmine rice. ◊ 26

Bouillabaisse~ classic tomato-saffron soup with mussels, shrimp, Maine lobster and sea bass.  Garnished with toast points and rouille.  ◊  56

Sous-vide leg of lamb with roasted cauliflower, pine nuts and basil-mint pesto.  Served with crispy potatoes and onions and sautéed asparagus.  ◊  54

Griddled angel food cake with blackberry-basil jam and crème fraiche. ◊  14
