Dear Feastlings,
Every now and again, we like to acknowledge someone else’s good idea. This week, it’s a nod to one of our old sommelier Kevin’s favorite tastings, partly because we was proud of his pun, and partly because who doesn’t like to eke an extra glass of wine out of the bottle? There are a number of positives about one-liter bottles, not the least of which is that fifth or sixth glass. But we’d also point out that with volume comes value, and that the usually lower alcohol of these big-bottled beauties means that drinking those extra glasses won’t knock you on your keyster. This week, our buddy Jennifer Brown will be here, and we’ll offer up four one-liter values, all of which are better than you’d expect a larger-format bottle to offer. The price? $15 plus tax and tip. The date? Saturday April 8th. The time? 2:00 pm. The objectives? Learning, and deliciousness. Call us at (520) 326-9363 and we’ll save you a seat.
You can see the pricing and the tasting order here.
Take me to your liter.
