All roads lead to Rhône.

Dear Feastlings,

If there’s a default for Kevin, especially in red wines, it’s the Rhône.  And be it the Rhône proper, or other parts of France, or even here domestically, the Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre we’ve all grown to love are excellent food wines, easy to drink by themselves by and large, and deliver an excellent value for their price.  This Saturday we’ll taste four Rhône-style reds that have your summer grilling stamped all over them, and we’ll shoot the breeze with some knowledgeable folk about the wines.  As is usually the case, the tasting will cost $15 plus tax and tip, and it will begin on Zoom at 2:00 pm.  You can order your samples by calling 326-9363.  We hope you’ve got your tasting shoes on.

The tasting begins on zoom at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 14.  The Zoom meeting number for the tasting is 868 0689 7029, and the passcode is 866352.

You can find the tasting order and the pricing here.
