Your summer cellar

Dear Feastlings,

The end of May is upon us, and so, therefore, is another Last Saturday Wine Tasting.  The rules of the Last Saturday tasting are simple: we pour heftier pours, we pair a little dish with each wine, and we step it up a bit from our regular Saturday tastings.  But summer has arrived, and it’s time to stock up on lighter, summery wines.

This Saturday, May 30th, our friend Mike joins us with four wines that we find perfect to keep on hand for the summer months- fresh and easy-drinking, excellent food wines that are fancier than the everyday stuff we often open up on a weeknight, but not bank-breakers.  After all, it’s summertime now.

The tasting costs $45 plus tax and gratuity, and you can make your reservation for the May 30th, 2:00 pm tasting by calling us at (520) 326-9363.  There’ll be curiosities more than the go-to wines you could expect to find anywhere, but they’re all immediately approachable, and all refreshing- even the reds will be delicious with a little bit of a chill on them, which will make up for the fact that we won’t be experiencing an external chill for a while now.
