An evening wine tasting- Oregon producers

Hello, Feastlings.

If you weren’t aware, we now and again have private wine tastings here at Feast.  With summer underway, however, people who’d normally be in town to attend find themselves on vacation or having returned to summertime dwellings, and the upshot is that we have some empty seats.  I know some of you don’t come to the Saturday tastings because they take place in the middle of the day, so I asked our pals at the American Wine Society, who’ve scheduled a tasting with us on Wednesday, June 10, at 5:30 pm if they’d mind sharing the tasting with non-members.  Their response was downright neighborly- they’re always open to having non-members join the fun, as long a members get the first crack at the tasting.

They’ve now RSVPed and there’s space available for you to join us, so if it’s of interest to you, here’s what we’ll be doing: our friend Mary Grace will be here with four Oregon wines, and we’ll be celebrating Oregon’s unique contribution to the wine world by preparing a snack to go with each wine.  The whole shooting match is $55, which in this instance includes tax and gratuity, so if wine education, generous pours and an assortment of snacks hold appeal for you, you can reserve a seat by calling us at (520) 326-9363.  Please don’t make a reservation through the website, as it doesn’t distinguish between regular dining and special events, and we need to know how many dishes to prepare.

The menu looks like this:
