Okay, maybe not so much the little things as the little places today- in a few hours our wine tasting will take us to four different small wine-producing areas that reside, well, within larger wine-producing areas. What makes them special will be discussed in detail this afternoon, along with other bits of information, some trivial and some less so, at 3:30 pm. If you’ve already signed up and gotten your goodies, great- here’s how to log in:

Here are the details about the tasting itself:
If you haven’t, let this be a lesson to you: he who hesitates is lost. A stitch in time saves nine. You snooze, you lose. And whatever other idiomatic expression you can think of regarding planning ahead. We’re sold out. Not that I have any place to talk about planning ahead- I’ve flown by the seat of my pants since the inception of Feast, and if the pandemic has taught me anything, it’s that whatever plans you’ve made for any occasion may well need to be scrapped at a moment’s notice anyhow, so it’s only reinforced by terrible habits. I do encourage you, however, to start thinking now about next month’s Last Sunday tasting, and I encourage myself to do the same: I don’t have a theme yet. In any case, you needn’t buy the food and wine samples to attend, and there’s more wine to be had, so even if you want to grab a bottle and tune in for a bit, only to finish the bottle with dinner, that’s an option for you. Here’s a list of dishes the wines might go well with:
And for good measure, as long as you have Feast on your mind, you can also consider the organization to whom we’re donating food next week, with your help or with that of your compatriots:
We look forward to seeing you soon, either way.
