Dear Feastlings,
While one of the wineries in today’s tasting has a full dance card today, the other three are putting a crease in their pant, shining their shoes and slicking back their hair to get ready for today’s tasting. We still have wine, so if you get a last-minute itch to join us, you can still give us a buzz at 326-9363 and we’ll happily get you samples in time to log in. The tasting looks like this:

Tomorrow’s tasting, on the other hand, appears at the moment to be sold out, though there are invariably last-minute cancellations, so it never hurts to be put on the waiting list. That tasting looks like this, and it begins at 3:30 tomorrow:
Meanwhile, we’re still continuing on our cryovac marathon, offering up vacuum-packed meals for you to enjoy with minimal work and minimal cleanup, but with maximum flavor. If you scroll down the menu toward the bottom of the page, you’ll see those meals, as well as our other specials for today, our breads and pastries, and the like.

The website appears a bit sluggish, but at least it’s operational today, which beats the tar out of Thursday afternoon, when I was ready to embed a telephone receiver in a wall, or a customer service representative ( the most grave misnomer I’ve experienced in months.) In any case, we do look forward to seeing you, whether you’re on the screen today or tomorrow, or you’re stocking your freezer with crawfish etouffee, picking up a bottle of wine, dropping off a check to help feed the guests of Casas Alitas,
or just dropping in to say hello. Hello. Thanks, all of you. For everything.
Doug
