You may or may not agree with me, but looking back at the week, I’d call it a rough one. And while I don’t prescribe wine as the curative for everyone, today’s wine tasting will at the very least be a moment where we can focus on something that’s neither the political landscape nor our position as the place with the highest Covid infection rate in the world.

Meanwhile, lay low, take care of yourselves, and of a loved one or two, and for that matter, of a total stranger. And if you’re a really amazing person, take care of someone you dread. If this isn’t a time you feel we all need to suck it up and be kind to each other, well, you and I are living in very different places. So that’s my other prescription: be good to someone today.
