Hi, Feastlings,
It being Sunday, and in particular the Sunday after an intense time getting the Primavera Cooks dinner together last Monday (thank you, those of you who participated!) and Bastille Day on Tuesday (and thank YOU, those of you who participated) plus our normal folderol, I thought I’d dash off the most minimal of notes today, just to keep you informed as to what’s coming up. So here it is, in chronological order:
– today we’re running dishes out to eastside and westside hubs. While it’s too late to order- some of the hub deliveries have already left the building- you CAN still get the special dishes we offered for the hub deliveries today: escalopes of chicken with Riesling cream, and seared gnocchi and English pea salad with mushrooms and lemon in a basil pesto vinaigrette. You can find the details, plus the rest of the menu, here.
-Friday, we’ll be delivering food to the Emergency Department, the COVID unit and the ICU at Tucson Medical Center, and we’re taking donations to help us get there. The hospital staff appreciates your donations, and so does the entire crew at Feast- it’s helping us keep our doors open:
Circling back- donating meals to the crew of front line healthcare workers at TMC
-Saturday, we’ll be doing a delivery run to the north and northwest
North by northwest- delivery to our neighbors in Oro Valley, Dove Mountain and Marana
-while we simultaneously offer you our weekly wine tasting via zoom:
-and we’ll follow it up with a delivery to various hubs to the south and southeast of Tucson:
And of course more will follow: the menu will change again on August 4, we’ll keep rotating the specials to cover your menu requests, and we’ll be offering Italian specials and discounts on Italian wines for Ferragosto on August 15th (that’s a Saturday,)
And that, for now, is that, my friends.
Doug, but also everyone else at Feast
