On April 17th, we sent food to our good friend and former Feast crew member, Michael, who now works at Tucson Medical Center, and another 314 front line hospital workers there. Having now donated food to every Tucson area hospital treating COVID patients, we’re circling back around next week to feed another 308 members of the TMC crew. Meals will be delivered on Friday, July 24th, and it’s in huge part through your kindness and generosity that we do this, Once we’ve raised enough to cover the costs of 258 meals, we’ll donate an additional 50 to the cause, and any overage will be applied to the next donation delivery run we make. We’ll be feeding the Emergency Department, that COVID Unit and the ICU, all shifts. If you’d like to donate a meal, here’s what we’ll be offering that day, and every little bit helps, so if you want to donate a meal, great, but if you want to donate $5, that’s great too. It all adds up, and if there’s anything we’ve learned during this pandemic, it’s that a community working together can accomplish great things, even if it’s built up from bits and pieces.
