Dear Feastlings,
It’s less and less of an issue among our guests, especially those of you who’ve been coming to Feast for a while, but we see it in the dining room all the time: no one wants to order the wine they can’t pronounce, or even the varietal they’re unfamiliar with, and so we sell a lot of the wines people already know. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir sell. Nerello Mascalese? Less so. With Halloween just around the corner, we thought this week we’d feature wines that people are scared of, or at least scared to order. Chris will lead a trip through Gumpoldskirschen and Slovenka, and you’ll come out the other end of this haunted house a little less spooked than you were coming in.
The tasting is at the usual Saturday 2:00 pm time, costs the usual $20 plus tax and tip, and wines will be delicious, as per usual. All you need to do to secure your space is to call us at (520) 326-9363 and let us know you’d like to join us, then come in on the 24th ready to taste the best Rotgipfler you’ve had in weeks, as well as a Petite Arvine, a Refošk and a blend of Gaglioppo, Magliocco and Greco Nero.
See you there.
