If there’s one thing we love, it’s celebrating a holiday that gives us an excuse to make and eat something delicious. Throw in the fact that we also get to offer a discount on something to drink that tastes delicious, and you’ve got yourself a heck of a Bastille Day.
Le Quatorze Juillet lands squarely on a Tuesday, and we’re happy to give you an excuse to dine out on a day you normally might not. On July 14th, we’ll be offering this menu, and offering all the French items on our wine list at retail, a savings of $15 a bottle, $8 a half bottle, and $30 a magnum. It’s worth your while, for sure. Here’s the menu:
Tartare de filet de boeuf~ hand-minced raw beef tenderloin with capers, shallot and parsley. Served with toast points, Dijon mustard and cornichons. * ◊ 22
Barigoule~ braised artichokes with vegetables and herbs. 15
Sole á la Meuniere~ Petrale sole, dusted in flour and sautéed. Served with a lemon, wine and butter sauce, rice pilaf and haricots verts. 38
Cassoulet~ traditional southern French ragout of white beans, sausage and duck confit. Garnished with breadcrumbs and served with haricots verts. ◊ 36
Bifteck-frites~ Grilled hanger steak, sliced and served with pommes frites and sauce Béarnaise. * ◊ 44
Bouillabaisse~ classic tomato-saffron soup with mussels, shrimp, scallops, Maine lobster and sea bass. Garnished with toast points and rouille. ◊ 50
Profiteroles au chocolat~ choux pastry filled with vanilla bean ice cream and topped with molten chocolate ganache. 12
