Hello, Feastlings,
It appears we’ve arrived at that wee window of Tucson time: the traffic has diminished, but there are still evenings when it’s suitable to hop outdoors at sunset and throw whatever it is you enjoy onto the grill for a simple meal that speaks of summertime without the actual Tucson summer having yet arrived to roast us all into submission. It’s in the spirit of this fleeting moment that we offer you this Saturday’s wine tasting: wines to go with what you’ve grilled, be it animal or vegetable, be it of the land, the sea or the air.
Our friend Rob joins us this Saturday, May 23rd, at 2:00 pm with wines that shine next to the shrimp you’ve thrown on the barbie, or the eggplant, or the chicken, fish, pork or beef. Like most other Saturday tastings, it’s $20 plus tax and tip, and requires a reservation, which can be made by calling us at (520) 326-9363. The wines are multifaceted, just like you and your barbecue meals, and worthy of your attentions. And the summertime traffic will have you here in minutes.
