Dear Feastlings,
There’s a certain predictability about Tucsonans, and one prediction we’re bound to see come true every December, regardless of the temperature still being in the 70s each day, is this: people start drinking red wine and shelve the white for the winter months. It’s with this phenomenon in mind that we offer you another set of big red wines for the weekend tasting. Last week, our pal Jennifer came in with four hearty reds, and this week, our pal Mike will come in with four more to choose from. They’ll go with your Christmas goose (and you still have until the end of the day on December 19th to order some) or your standing rib roast, your duck, your ham or what-have-you. They’ll go with a burger or a grilled cheese sandwich as well, so if you find something you like on Saturday, the world is very nearly your oyster.
We’ll start tasting at 2:00 pm this Saturday, December 23rd, and if you call us at (520) 326-9363, we’ll save you a seat at the tasting table. It’s $18 plus tax and tip, and we’d love to see you.
Big again, and red again
