Bordeaux and their New World counterparts

Dear Feastlings,

It’s been a while since we poured wines from Bordeaux to be tasted alongside the same varietals from New World vineyards, and it’s always fun and interesting to be reminded of the difference between terroirs, so this week, we’ll pour two white wines, one from Bordeaux and one from Australia, and two reds- again, one from Bordeaux and one from our own back yard in Sonoita.  It’ll be an enjoyable meet-and-greet, both virtually and in person, so take your pick.

The tasting will happen here this Saturday, August 6th, in the private dining room, and by Zoom as well, and you’re welcome to join us at either.  Give a call at (520) 326-9363 and we’ll happily pour you a set of samples and log you in for some good old-fashioned sipping.  The tasting, like our others, is a mere $15 plus tax and tip, and there’s a discount to be had on the wines afterward.  We hope you can join us.

THE TASTING BEGINS ON ZOOM AT 2:00 PM ON SATURDAY, august 6.  THE ZOOM MEETING NUMBER FOR THE TASTING IS 881 4292 6326 and the passcode is 205479.
