Spacious skies, amber waves of grain

Dear Feastlings,

You know all about our predilection for Old World wines- it seems like every chance we get, we’re trying to shoehorn into the tastings some bottle from Ischia, or Priorat, or Jura or what-have-you.  But this week, the week of the birthday of our occasionally great nation, we thought it appropriate to pour wines that come to you from right here in the star-spangled land we live in.  And in the spirit of Independence Day, we’re pouring four fiercely independent wines, all special and interesting, and all chockablock with the spirit that makes us unique.

This Saturday at 2:00 pm, we’ll have samples all poured for you to taste and learn about, either here at Feast for from the comfort of your own home, and you’ll walk away from it with a respect for the diversity of our wine culture, and the ingenuity and free thinking that make American wines special.  You can reserve a seat or a set of samples by calling us at (520) 326-9363.  The tasting begins at 2:00 on Saturday the 2nd, and costs $15 plus tax and tip.

THE TASTING BEGINS ON ZOOM AT 2:00 PM ON SATURDAY, July 2.  THE ZOOM MEETING NUMBER FOR THE TASTING IS 845 7198 4191 and the passcode is 720360.
