Dear Feastlings,
We know. It’s Tucson. It’s hot. And yet we notice, around here anyway, that the people who like their Cabernet just plain like their Cabernet. So this week is a nod to those people- the ones who drink Cabernet Sauvignon when it’s 95 degrees out; the ones who order Cab first and then worry about what they’ll be eating with it. Some of these are actually built for summer- lighter and leaner, with the oak and tannin taking a back seat to fruit and terroir.
On Saturday, May 28, we’ll take a wild ride across both sides of the Atlantic, and dip down to the Southern Hemisphere as well. You can reserve a seat or a set of samples by calling us at (520) 326-9363. The tasting begins at 2:00 on the 30th, and costs $15 plus tax and tip.
THE TASTING BEGINS ON ZOOM AT 2:00 PM ON SATURDAY, May 28. THE ZOOM MEETING NUMBER FOR THE TASTING IS 833 9909 3545, AND THE PASSCODE is 094726.
