Dear Feastlings,
We get it. Not every night is a Saturday night. Not every dinner marks a special occasion. So while you might want to pull out a stop or two, you can’t pull out all the stops every single time. This Saturday, we’ll taste four wines who are essentially the little siblings of wines from appellations with admittedly a certain amount of cachet, but that are accompanied by a commensurate price tag. So the next time you don’t feel comfortable pulling the cork on a bottle of Pomerol, maybe a bottle of Lalande-de-Pomerol will be more appropriate to the occasion, and to your budget. Like the majority of our tastings, you’ll get four samples for $15 plus tax and tip, and then all that’s left to do is log into the Zoom tasting come 2:00 on Saturday the 18th.
The tasting begins on zoom at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 18. The Zoom meeting number for the tasting is 846 8913 9714. The passcode is 910287.
