Dear Feastlings,
This Saturday’s tasting is a glance at the inner workings of Feast. Each Thursday for twenty years now, we’ve met with distributors, importers, winemakers, brokers, and wine nerds of all stripes, and tasted our way through excellent and disappointing wines in an effort to get wines to your table, be it here or at home, that we feel represent an excellent value, be they representative of a place, a varietal, a style or a chunk of history. On Saturday, July 24, Kevin, Megan, Katherine and Doug will each share a favorite of theirs and talk about why it’s special to them, and with any luck we’ll get some help from the people who produce the wines, import them, distribute them, or have some other special knowledge to make the experience educational. We’ll all meet via Zoom at 2:00 pm on the 24th and shoot the breeze about the wines, and you’re welcome and encouraged to taste along. For $15 plus tax and tip, you’ll taste four wines that are near and dear to our hearts, and we taste a lot of wine. To reserve your set of samples, all you’ll need to do is give us a call at 326-9363. We hope you’ll join us.
The tasting begins on zoom at 2:00 pm on Saturday, july 24. The Zoom meeting number for the tasting is 827 0637 1497, and the passcode is 755980.
