Hello, Feastlings.
If you’re still uneasy getting on a plane or heading to a crowded beach, we’ll being enjoying the surf vicariously this Sunday, through wine. This month’s Last Sunday tasting features four wines- a white, a pink and two reds- all of which hail from one island or another in the Mediterranean. You’ll get that salt spray and the sun-baked ripeness that island wines bring to the glass, as well as a food pairing with each of the wines. The samples will be hefty, the speakers will be fun and informative, and the snacks will be tasty. Plus, I’ll likely be coming to you from a new spot, since the dining room is open now. More than likely it will be from our less-than-glamorous kitchen, as opposed to our significantly-less-than-glamorous office. For $35 plus tax and tip, you’ll get some substantial pours, some snacks and instructions, and it’s bound to be great fun. Call us at 326-9363 and we’ll make you up some samples and some snacks.
The tasting begins on zoom at 3:30 pm on Sunday, May 30. The Zoom meeting number for the tasting is 857 0060 9576, and the passcode is 675692.
You can see the tasting order and pricing here, and you’ll also the pairings and cooking instructions here.
