ordering cutoff for mother’s day is 7:30 pm on Thursday, May 6th
In better days, we’ve always been able to make a special menu to honor mothers on their day. The situation being what it is, we still wanted to make a few special dishes, but figured they should be dishes that you could acquire on Saturday and be ready to make mom feel as special as she is come Sunday. With that in mind, you can order Mother’s Day food at any point this week for pickup or delivery either Saturday or Sunday. We offer this in hopes that we can get enough of the ingredients by knowing approximately how many of each dish we’re serving, but with supply chains still being affected left and right, we thought the sooner we knew what you wanted, the better. Thanks for your patience and understanding. These dishes will be ready for pickup or delivery on Saturday the 8th as well, so you can heat them up on Mother’s Day without ever having to leave the house.
Our fishmonger has had a particularly difficult set of supply chain issues, so any order you place after Thursday risks our being sold out when you call. We’ll prepare a few extras beyond what gets ordered, but Mother’s Day ordering cutoff will be Thursday the 6th at the end of the day.
A few specials for mom
Pancetta-wrapped dates, stuffed with Manchego cheese and served with hummus and toast points. ◊
Salad of Belgian endive and watercress with red grapes and pine nuts in a Moscato vinaigrette. Garnished with Tête de Moine cheese. ◊
Bouillabaisse~ classic tomato-saffron soup with half a Maine lobster, mussels, shrimp, scallops, and sea bass. Served with toast points and rouille. ◊
New Zealand King salmon Wellington~ Seared sushi-grade salmon, topped with artichoke hearts and roasted tomatoes and wrapped in puff pastry. Served with broccolini, sunflower seeds and lemon zest.
Individual rosewater cake with citrus buttercream, pistachios and flower petals.
