Hot meals for those experiencing cold nights

Dear Feastlings,

As you’re well aware by this point, one of our strategies for staying open these past fifty-one weeks has been to harness the kindness and generosity of Tucsonans to feed those who’ve been struggling with the brutal responsibilities of being a front-line worker, or taking care of people who are experiencing illness, be it mental or physical, or protecting the other members of this community, and we’re grateful to you for it.  We’ll be going on March 23rd to the Sister José Women’s Shelter with 150 meals, and after Easter to the Primavera Men’s Shelter with another hundred or so.  And we’re still working on something with Casas Alitas, so we’ll update this page as plans are made.  Meanwhile, we’ll continue with what we’ve been doing: for every 250 meals people donate through Feast, we’ll donate another 50, and any donations that surpass our goal will be shifted to the next donation run.  Donations can be made by phone at 326-9363, or made in person at Feast.  If you choose to donate by check, please make your check payable to Feast with “food donations” written in the memo line.  You can drop it off or drop it in the mail, to

In the meantime, if you’d like to know more about the organizations we’re donating food to in the next few weeks, you can learn about them here:

Whomever you choose to help, they’ll appreciate it, and so will the staff of Feast, whom you’ll be helping as well by keeping Feast’s doors open through the pandemic.
