Let’s not be hasty…

Dear Feastlings,

Our lives are hopscotchy affairs: one day is trivial; another is a special occasion; a third falls somewhere in between.  It’s tempting in a world that’s gotten more and more black-and-white to decide that if we’re not drinking table wine that it’s strictly Premier Cru instead.  But this week’s wine tasting is a walk through middle ground.  If we’re not splurging on Meursault tonight, it might still be nice to at least enjoy a Pouilly-Fuissé.  A Crianza may not be a Reserva, but it’s still a step above a Joven.  And so on.  On Saturday, February 20, at 2 pm, we’ll be tasting the little siblings of the fancy-pants stuff we’ve all come to regard as a must for any occasion more important than a Tuesday night.  It’s a mere $12.50 to taste, plus tax and tip, and you may find it nice to discover that you can step it up without stepping out of your comfort zone on the price tag.  You can call 326-9363 to reserve your sample tastes, and we’ll be happy to meet you on the screen come Saturday.

The zoom tasting begins at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 20th, and the meeting number is 854 2944 2258, and the passcode is 998071.
