Dear Feastlings,
It’s nearly Ferragosto, the Feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, and with that comes a special menu and ten percent off every Italian wine on the list. We thought we’d give you a running start and familiarize yourself with a few of them before the big day, so this Saturday, we’ll be chockablock with wine experts telling you all about these two whites and two reds that are a bit off the beaten path. You won’t find a Pinot Grigio here, nor will you find a Chianti, but we’ll have all sorts of other fun Italian wines to get you ready for the big day. The tasting is, as usual, at 2:00 pm, via zoom, this Saturday, August 8, and, as usual, you’ll get your tastes for a mere $12.50 plus tax and tip. We’ll post the meeting number and password here as they become available, and we’ll email it all out to you as well. It should be fun. In fact, it WILL be fun. Senza dubbio.
