Greetings, Feastlings,
If you tuned in last week, you got to virtually meet Cyler and Taralyn Varnum of Varnum Vintners. While we don’t promise any winemakers this week, we do promise deliciousness. If you’d like to join us, you’ll find the link to the zoom meeting posted here soon, and you’ll get an email with the password on Saturday (or, if I’m as tired as I was when I sent last week’s email, on Friday.) One catch: we’re limited by the number of jars we have, so if you got jars last time around, please bring them back for $2.50 off the price of your samples and pay only $10 plus tax and any gratuity you’d care to add to help along the staff that’s been financially walloped by COVID-19. If it’s your first time picking up the new set of samples and you have no jars to return for a deposit, it’s only $12.50 plus plus. This week it’s a voluptuous assortment of reds and whites from southern France. The tasting is at 2:00 and we hope you’ll join us. We won’t start pouring samples until late Wednesday in the interest of keeping them bright and fresh.
the zoom meeting number for the tasting is 922-4940-8855. the password is 296586.
