Hi there, Feastlings.
Just as we’re often inclined to expect all Chardonnay to taste similar when we fail to give it any thought, Sauvignon Blanc is often the victim of pigeonholing as well. So with that in mind, this Saturday, Kevin reminds us all that there’s more than a slight breadth of styles of Sauvignon Blanc, varying certainly by region, but also by the whim of the winemaker. At 2:00 on the 19th, he’ll be pouring wines from our own back yard, and from 6000 miles away. For $12.50 plus tax and tip, you can taste them side by side and find out why the glass of Sauvignon Blanc you ordered two weeks ago tasted completely different from the one you ordered yesterday. There’ll be snacks and persiflage served alongside the wines, but you’ll need to make a reservation, and web and email reservations won’t do the trick. So call us at 326-9363 and let us know you’d like to join us, and we’ll save you a seat, if they’re not all spoken for.
