Hello, Feastlings.
This week we visit a varietal that we pretty much universally agree here at Feast is tragically underappreciated: Chenin Blanc. While many are under the impression that Chenin is by and large a sweet wine, we’re here this week to prove to you that that simply isn’t the case. We’ll certainly be offering up an off-dry Vouvray and another fruitier Chenin from Central Coast, but there’ll also be a bone dry Savennieres and another dry one from Clarksburg. And darned if they’re not all delicious and food friendly. The tasting, as ever, is $10 plus tax and tip, and, as ever, we don’t take web or email reservations, so if you want to join us, you’ll need to call us at 326-9363. It’s this Saturday, March 10, at 2:00 pm. We hope you can make it.
