Hello, Feastlings.
This week, we’re celebrating the fact that the Monroe Doctrine had no effect on the importation of grapes and the subsequent populating of South American vineyards with European varietals. Kevin is opening up two wines from Chile and two from Argentina, all red for the impending cooler weather, and all delicious with food at their side. Though it turns out they’re also pretty good by their respective lonesomes. The tasting is at 2:00 on Saturday, September 30, and there’ll be some light nibble s served alongside them. The tasting is $10 plus tax and tip, and reservations should be made the old-fashioned way, by phone: 326-9363. Web and email reservations won’t work to hold you a spot. We do hope you’ll join us.
