Hello, Feastlings.
Those of us who’ve been in- or peripheral to- the wine biz in Tucson for a spell remember a charming and knowledgeable sort named Greta Arendsen, who used to sling wine down here before becoming a mom, moving to cooler climes and now jetsetting around four states to extol the virtues of the wines in importer Quintessential’s portfolio. We’ve missed her around here, but as luck would have it, Arizona is back in her orbit, and she’ll be joining us on Thursday, May 7th, to talk about the wines of Quinta do Vallado. We’ve been pouring their wines since Feast was teeny tiny, and Greta’s given us the excuse to bring in four of them, and to write a menu that highlights what we find enchanting about the wines.
