Dear Feastlings,
I know you haven’t ALL left town; it takes me several minutes to pull out of Feast’s parking lot nearly every time I leave. And I know it’s hot and miserable; I’ve witnessed that firsthand. So I’m applying the transitive property. IF people are in town, AND it’s too miserable to do anything outside, THEN there are people who need an air-conditioned activity this weekend. I propose our Saturday wine tasting, be it here or be it at home.
It happens tomorrow at 2:00, and we’d be delighted to see you, even if it’s only on a screen. You can use the opportunity to discover a nice summertime wine or two, and then, when you can stand to leave the house again, you can swing by and pick up a bottle or ten, and scurry back to the relative safety and coolness of home. Just throwing it out there.
Love,
Doug
