Three fans of a very silly size showed up yesterday. They’re not much to look at, but they will keep billowing clouds of airborne olive oil from wafting through the restaurant. They’ll also keep it from wafting over Discount Tire, as per City Code. No wafting. Mostly a fire-related stipulation, but I think it’s wrong to deprive the friendly tire-busters of the opportunity to sniff garlic sizzling or cakes baking. Still, I understand: code is code.
