Dear Feastlings,
Those of you who’ve been coming to Feast for some time will undoubtedly remember Kevin, who used to run the wine shop and the tastings here at Feast. Many are the vestiges of his tenure here: a love of Picpoul de Pinet, a certain fondness for puns, an increase in the number of vegetarian offerings, and a respect for Gérard Bertand.
While Kevin made an actual pilgrimage to visit the producer in situ in the Languedoc, it’s a bit of commute just to check out the wines this Saturday, so our friend Mary Grace will be here with four Bertrand wines to motivate you to make your own visit one day.
The tasting happens this Saturday, September 19, at 2:00 pm, and, like most of our other tastings, will set you back $20 plus tax and tip, which you can handily make up by getting discounts on the wines. If you’d like to join us, please call us at (520) 326-9363 and let us know, and we’ll save you a seat.
