Adler wines- four of ’em.

Hello, Feastlings,

There’s likely no reason for you to know the name Marco Scartezzini, but he’s kind of a big deal in Alto Adige.  Marco ran Abbazia di Novacella for over a quarter century before founding Adler in 2021 with a handful of growers in the Valle Isarco, and if you’ve had those wines, you know that he knows what he’s doing.  If you haven’t, and you want to get in on the proverbial ground floor and scoop up some Adler wines before the rest of the world discovers them and their prices go up, you’ll have a chance this Saturday, April 11, to taste four of the wines with our friend Mike, get discounts on the wines, and imagine yourself among the tall, cool pines of the Isarco Valley, where curiously, they make bone dry white wines that are perfect foils for the Tucson summer.

Mike brings with him three whites and a Pinot Noir, and if you’d like to taste through them with us, show up on Saturday at 2:00, but not until you’ve reserved a seat at the table.  To do that, give us a jingle at (520) 326-9363 and make your reservation, and then stop in Saturday for a more than slightly refreshing tasting.  It’s $20 plus tax and tip, there’ll be discounts on the wines, and the camaraderie of like-minded wine lovers will be suffused with education and deliciousness.
