Getting in on the ground floor

Dear Feastlings,

If you’re at all like me, you’ve seen them and summarily dismissed them: the fancy high-end bottle of wine whose price stretches outside of your comfort zone.  Also, if you’re like me, you’ve begun to slide down the slippery slope of enjoying wine, and each year, you find yourself willing to spend a little more than you used to on a bottle.  If only, you think to yourself, there was a way to get to know the winery and the winemaker without spending a fortune, you could decide whether you were willing to risk a big expenditure without jumping in feet-first.

This Saturday, our buddy Rob will be joining us with four wines produced by people who make higher-end, fancy-pants wine, but who also make something that doesn’t require a second mortgage to finance.  We’ll be tasting wines from four producers who make fairly gorgeous stuff, but we’ll be tasting what we in the business call “entry-level” wines.  For $20 plus tax and tip, you can join us to talk and taste wine- all you need to do to reserve your seat is to call us at (520) 326-9363, and you can belly up to the tasting table on Saturday, March 7th at 2:00 pm.
