Dear Feastlings,
We’ve been bouncing around a bit with our tastings, but somehow our hearts keep bringing us back to Italy. This Saturday, our friend Emilie joins us with four Italian treats, from the far north, through central Italy, and down to Sicily in the south. We’ve noticed a sales slump at our Saturday tastings, and asked you all about it, and the consensus we heard and understood was that you’d be willing to drop an extra couple of bucks to taste wines that were- well, a bit nicer than what we’ve been tasting most Saturdays. The upshot was this week’s tasting, a collection of Italian treats that we think you’ll find delicious.
The tasting has crept up along with tariffs to $20 plus tax and tip- still affordable for an afternoon treat but allowing us to step up our wine game as pricing continue to rise. You’ll see some familiar varietals and some that you probably haven’t tasted in a recent memory, but isn’t that the point? If you’d like to join us and Emilie, please give us a jingle at (520) 326-9363 and have us save you a spot at the tasting table. We’d love to have you join us.
