A bunch of wines. From France.

Dear Feastlings,

During the pandemic, we had a little broader scope at our tastings, and here’s why: we were able to bring in wines from multiple distributors, and everyone hopped on the Zoom meeting for their fifteen minutes or so, all without leaving the comfort of their home, or office, or winery, or car, for that matter.  It was fun.  And it’s fun now, but we find ourselves less apt to be doing a tasting where we scout out high altitude wines, say, or wines whose grapes are grown in a certain soil type, or the like.  No distributor needs to offer the entire spectrum that is collectively offered by them all, and so sometimes, our themes feel like a bit of a reach.

There is, however, that tried-and-true theme of geography that seldom fails us, so this week, our buddy Megan joins us with four wines.  From France.  They come from hither and yon within the land of the Gauls and the Franks and the Celts and the Normans and the Romans- now it’s just France, and doggone if we aren’t delighted that so many cultures have given rise to the breadth and scope of wines you can taste from what we now call France.

There’ll be red, white and pink, and you’re sure to find one that speaks to you.  If you’d like to reserve a seat at the table, call us at (520) 326-9363 and tell us you’re coming.  Then bring $20 plus tax and tip and join us for a soirée in which we extol the virtues of the wines of the spot between Spain and Italy, Switzerland and Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, the Mediterranean and the English Channel.  The Bons Temps with most certainly Roulez.
