Dear Feastlings,
I was talking with our old friend Jennifer the other day, because the tasting we had set up with Bryan was suddenly in limbo with his change of occupation. Gracious person that she is, she agreed to come join us once again, but in the meantime, her managerial role has allowed her time to be a mom and do bit less running all over town. This Saturday, though, she’ll have run all over town and ended up here at Feast. I only bring up the mom thing because in our conversation, she noted that she’s been putting in a significant amount of time on Alphabet Books. And so it came to pass that we’re pulling wines from an assortment of “Letter B” appellations, all of which I’d still consider “A-Team” wines.
If you’re inclined to join us, I’m sure Jennifer would love to have some polysyllabic conversation about wine with you all, and it’ll hail from the prestigious A-team of B-wines. there’ll be Bordeaux and Burgundy, Barolo and Brunello, and we’ll be cooking up some snacks to serve alongside the wines. You may recall that the End-of-the-Month tasting is a pricier tasting at $50 plus tax and tip, but it’s also more of an event: the pourings are more generous, the wines are more high-end, and there’s a food pairing served with each of the wines. It’s dinner and a show, as it were.
It’s filling up fast, but we’re happy to spill over into the main dining room if a few more of you would like to attend, and it’s easy to reserve a seat: simply call us at (520) 326-9363 and tell us you’d like to come to the tasting. If you miss Jennifer as well have, and you’re in the mood for some really excellent wines, this is your moment. We hope you can join us.
Brought to you by the letter B
