Dear Feastlings,
While the consensus I’m hearing is that this isn’t exactly the year for over-the-top celebrating, this week’s wine tasting starts in northern Italy and carries us over the top of the Adriatic Sea to deposit us gently in Slovenia, then ends back across the Adriatic again in Montepulciano. Thematically, perhaps it’s not the strongest tasting we’ve had in a while, but as far as intrigue and quality go? It’s a winner.
Our pal Megan joins us this Saturday, December 20th, at 2:00 pm to take us through the wine countries on either side of that salty sea, and you can taste along if you’d like. Arrangements can be made to save you a seat by calling us at (520) 326-9363, and then all that falls to you is to show up thirsty for knowledge, wine, and friendly elbows with which to bend your own.
We start at 2:00 on the 20th, and it’s a mere $18 plus tax and tip to join in on the winter goodness we have to offer.
