Dear Feastlings,
While there’s a reason the Noble Grapes are noble, we at Feast are generally inclined toward exploration and experimentation. We like Cabernet Sauvignon as much as the next guy, but we’re also curious to taste one of the other sixteen hundred varietals currently in production, or the six to ten thousand estimated to exist. With the Thanksgiving season dominating our thoughts, our tastings have been chockablock with varietals we recognize, but this Saturday, November 29th, we’ll be pouring wines you’ve not tasted this week, if ever, and it promises to be an excellent tasting- good stories to tell, delicious wines to drink, generous pours, and a food pairing with each of the wines.
Our buddy Megan will be here with Aligoté, Trousseau, Nerello Mascalese and Teroldego, and we’ll be making a special treat to eat with each of them. If you’d like to come and taste with us, a reservation is a must, as we only prepare food based on the reservations you make. A quick phone call to (520) 326-9363 will do the trick, and come Saturday the 29th at 2:00 pm, there’ll be fascinating grapes, fermented to perfection, alongside education and food, and charming company. What more could one ask?
The tasting costs $50 plus tax and tip, and if you treat yourself to some of the wines afterward, you’ll save that much or more, as we discount the wines on the day of the tasting by 10% on a bottle, or 15% on a mix and match case. If you’re looking for an activity with friends or family who are still milling about in Tucson after their Thanksgiving visit, it’s a good one for the grownups.
Curiosity enlightened the cat.
