Nothing against goblins, but we prefer spirits.

Dear Feastlings,

Halloween fast approaches, so we thought it only appropriate to taste not wine this week, but spirits.  Our buddy Emilie joins us this Saturday, October 18th, at 2:00 with some spirits- and a Vermouth- that are better for sipping before or after a meal, and perhaps make sense to mix with whatever spirits you already have at home.  Or if you’re a bit short at home, we’ve got all the basics here in the shop as well, and for all who attend, we’ll discount those as well as what we’re tasting, so that you can construct a cocktail of your liking.

Like the wine tastings, this one begins at 2:00 pm on Saturday, and like the wine tastings, it costs $18 plus tax and tip.  We’ll save you a seat if you call us at (520) 326-9363 and ask us to, and come Saturday, you’ll likely find something that speaks to you to sip on while you hand out candy to all the little witches and ghosts and Batmen and Taylor Swifts.

Emilie brings a sampling of spirits from Leopold Brothers, a distiller in Denver Colorado, whom we all admire a great deal around here, and we’re confident that you’ll leave the tasting an admirer as well.
