Dear Feastlings,
September may well be upon us, but we’re far from being through the time of year when Rosé is the most suitable of beverages. As such, our friend Jennifer, who’s been promoted to a position that affords her a better schedule, has agreed, despite not initially planning to lead this tasting, to- well, lead this tasting. And it promises to be refreshing and delicious- all pink wines, but none of the usual suspects, Rather than Provence and California, we’ll be sampling pinks from Austria and Rioja, from Beaujolais and Sancerre, and you’ll be glad you participated, assuming you participate.
Doggone if that thick monsoon air isn’t cut expertly by a cool and crisp Rosé. Like most tastings here, it’s $18 plus tax and tip, and like most tastings, it begins on Saturday at 2:00 pm. If you’d like to join us on the 6th, now’s the moment to give us a call and have us polish up a wine glass for you. The number is (520) 326-9363.
See you on Saturday.
