Two roads diverged in a yellow wood

Dear Feastlings,

Those of us who’ve been in the industry for a spell have our opinions, and while they count for a lot to some people, the majority nod politely at the suggestion of something they wouldn’t normally order, and then?  They don’t order it.  This Saturday, our end-of-the-month wine tasting features four wines that, despite our encouragement, people shy away from.  Unless, of course, they’re you.  If you plan on attneding this tasting, it’s because you’re willing to consider the fact that perhaps- perhaps- when you stay in your comfort zone and order the Chardonnay again, you may be missing out on something.  On Saturday, August 30th, our friend Emilie joins us again with wines from four nearly hopeless categories: the obscure one, the varietal that “doesn’t belong there,” the orange one, and the tardive.

We’ll be pouring hefty pours, we’ll be pairing food with each wine, and with any luck, you’ll discover that it makes all the difference, taking the road less traveled by.

The tasting, with food pairings and substantial pours, will cost $50 plus tax and gratuity, and reservations can be made by calling us at (520) 326-9363.  Come join us on the 30th at 2:00 pm.
