Dear Feastlings,
We checked- it’s still going to be hot every day this week. Yes, God willing, there’ll be rain, but this week, we set our sights on lighter, cleaner wines that are built to enjoy without mittens or scarves. As it happened, all four of them hail from the Golden State, and so we’ve named this tasting California Dreamin’, in part because the wines come from there, and in part because we mostly wish that we were living the cool and refreshing coastal lifestyle that California affords one.
Our friend Rob joins us this Saturday at 2:00 pm with four wines- two refreshing whites and two light and easy poolside reds- and you’re bound to find something you enjoy. The tasting happens this Saturday, August 16th, at 2:00 pm, costs $18 plus tax and tip, and reminds you that as much Old World wine as we taste around here, there are delicious wines to be had right in our own figurative back yard.
Call us up at (520) 326-9363 and we’ll happily save you a glass and a seat at this Saturday’s wine tasting. These wines are assuredly a treat.
