Dear Feastlings,
Overall, I’d say that Bastille Day was a success around here, and I’m hoping for a similar experience next month when we celebrate Ferragosto. But in the meantime, between European vacations, it’s nice to come back to the comforts of home for a bit. This Saturday, our pal Megan will be with us to taste four American wines, and we couldn’t be happier. With tariffs bouncing back and forth between 10%, 25% and now a threatened 50% on EU products, it’s perhaps time to turn our gaze inward, curl into a ball and sip our way toward comfort. Can you drink while you’re curled up into a ball? I imagine we’ll find out.
Anyhow, we couldn’t think of four nicer wines to curl up with, and come 2:00 on Saturday, July 19th, you’ll be able to come to a similar conclusion, once you’ve tasted through. Mark your calendar, pick up your phone and call us at (520) 326-9363 to have us hold you a spot; then arrive at the appointed time with $18 in your pocket, plus tax and tip, and get ready to hang out with us and Megan to taste through a slate of summertime wines that never cross a tariff-triggering border. You’re certain to have an excellent time.
