Las Hogueras de San Juan

Dear Feastlings,

While the summer is less cause for celebration in Tucson, there are still reasons to ring it in with a smile.  In Spain, the summer solstice is celebrated with miles- well, kilometers- of bonfires along its Mediterranean beaches, and while we have no beach, our summer brings us a relentment in traffic, and the option to dine out or attend a movie without planning for weeks in advance, and a little manouverability with the shopping cart at the grocery store.  The sunrises are pretty, there’s a calm in the air, and we’ll be kicking it all off with a nod to Spain’s bonfires.

On Tuesday, June 24th, there’ll be traditional and slightly less traditional Spanish dishes all day long, in addition to our regular menu, and any Spanish wine on the list will be offered for its out-the-door retail price, which means you’ll save fifteen bucks immediately upon ordering.

We’ll be open our normal hours, which is to say we’ll be seating from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, and we’d love to have you join us.  The special portion of the menu that day will look like this:
