Dear Feastlings,
You know and we do: our demographic is mostly people of a certain- shall we say?- maturity. None of us is the youngster we used to be, but this Saturday’s tasting may well remind you of days gone by, or, just as good, make you feel like a youth in the current world- it’s social media, it’s gimmicky and merch-y, and yet it’s still the reason we gather here at 2:00 each Saturday: it’s wine. Many of you already know the wines of Field Recordings. Winemaker Andrew Jones joined us by Zoom a couple of times when we were doing pandemic-era Zoom tastings, and he was a hoot. This Saturday, though, Enologist Jack Hegerle will be here to kick off the Field Recordings Tastes America Tour. Take a look at their tour:

Why they’d kick it off in Tucson in June is beyond my grasp, but we’ll count ourselves lucky to be not only included, but the first stop on their epic road trip. Our pal Jennifer, who distributes the wines, will be here as well, and the shindig begins at 2:00 pm this Saturday, June 14th, and costs $18 plus tax and tip, and you can reserve your spot by calling us at (520) 326-9363. There’ll be a white, an orange, and two summery reds all available for you to fall in love with and stock up on at a discounted price. Come join us!
